Welcome to a new site designed to address the question of homosexuality and the Bible.  Why?  As far as most Christians are concerned the issue is as black and white as the text of the Bible.  To most homosexuals its clear as well - the Bible condemns them so they aren't interested.  It could be argued that since there is this seemingly unbridgeable chasm both groups should just get on with their lives and ignore each other.  Life is never that simple though is it!  There are tens of thousands of people within the Church who struggle with the question of their own sexuality.  They are the silent victims of this chasm.  To many of these people the question is embrace their faith and suppress their sexuality, or embrace their sexuality and deny their faith.  Thousands have chosen each.  But a growing number have realised a Third Way exists - to embrace both without compromising.

Sound too good to be true?  discipleSCOTLAND is a place to learn from each other and, in a safe, non-judgemental way, try and answer that timeless question: "What is Truth?"

The primary aim of discipleSCOTLAND is to be a hub between different organisations that share a common goal within Scotland.  The founding member of discipleSCOTLAND is Courage Scotland - the Scottish version of Courage, based in London and started by Jeremy Marks.  This website will act as the website of CourageSCOTLAND for the forseeable future and until other organisations come join our hub.
